ADELI Center is an international rehabilitation center with extraordinary intensive, highly individual therapy and care. This concept and the use of the knowledge of space medical treatment and further knowledge guarantees the maximum degree of success of treatment for each patient.
Natural healing sources – thermal mineral water and unique sulfuric medicinal mud – were the ground for establishing of Piešťany Spa. PIestany Spa became world renowned due to modern methods of treatment of rheumatism and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Civic Association “Malicek”
The civic association “Malicek” supports families with prematurely born babies. It provides them information, advice and various forms of support in difficult life situations. It collaborates with experts from neonatology, psychology, pediatric neurology, pediatrics and other medical professions.
The patron of the civic association “Malicek” is Slovak actress and TV pediatrician Zdena Studenkova.
Slovak Paralympic Committee
The Slovak Paralympic Committee (SPV) was formed on 31st January 1995. SPV is a recognized member of the International Paralympic Committee (MPV), which has 168 members worldwide, and a member of the European Paralympic Committee (EPP) with its 52 members. SPV has the status of an autonomous, independent and non-political organization and is entitled to organise the paralympic movement In Slovakia. SPV promotes development of paralympic sports and disciplines, enabling the choices of disciplines according to each athlete’s disabilities.

The HBO facility is made up of a 12-digit pressure chamber of the HAUX-STARMED 2200 / 5.5 / XL type of the German manufacturer HAUX-Life Support, GmbH with additional 2 places in the pre-chamber. It is possible to treat a patient on the bed in the chamber. The maximum operating pressure of the chamber is 5 bar (6.5 ATA). Standard features include built-in fully automatic fire extinguishers, patient audio / video monitoring, air conditioning, computer / manual exposure control,% saturation O2%, chamber atmosphere O2% aspiration. A storage chamber tunnel is part of the chamber. The chamber is filled with air (pressurized) (not 100% oxygen as in 1-chamber chambers). 100% of medical oxygen is inhaled by patients through closed masks.
