City Piešťany
Piešťany is a spa town in Slovakia, the seat of the district administration and many scientific institutions. It is an international center for treatment of rheumatic diseases and an important regional center of culture, education, sport and recreation. The economy of the city depends on medical care, tourism, electrical engineering, engineering and food industry. The river Váh runs through it. It has warm and dry climate.
Civic Association “Malicek”
The civic association “Malicek” supports families with prematurely born babies. It provides them information, advice and various forms of support in difficult life situations. It collaborates with experts from neonatology, psychology, pediatric neurology, pediatrics and other medical professions.
The patron of the civic association “Malicek” is Slovak actress and TV pediatrician Zdena Studenkova.
Slovak Paralympic Committee
The Slovak Paralympic Committee (SPV) was formed on 31st January 1995. SPV is a recognized member of the International Paralympic Committee (MPV), which has 168 members worldwide, and a member of the European Paralympic Committee (EPP) with its 52 members. SPV has the status of an autonomous, independent and non-political organization and is entitled to organise the paralympic movement In Slovakia. SPV promotes development of paralympic sports and disciplines, enabling the choices of disciplines according to each athlete’s disabilities.

an association of financial funds designed to meet the general (common good) purpose of protecting and promoting health, education, research and development. Its focus is in particular on: support through the purchase of medical aids, diagnostic tools, equipment and materials related to the protection and promotion of health, and support in the form of contribution to the research and development of new medical aids, diagnostic tools, equipment and materials, financial support for various forms of education, purchase of literature, and promotion of exchange and rehabilitation stays. Under the patronage of Ustav Polymerov SAV (Polymer Institution of the Slovak Academy of Sciences).
